Making Memories At #SundayBrunch
[box type="shadow" align="aligncenter" ]Disclosure: I was given a gift card in order to try the new brunch menu at Bonefish Grill.[/box] Last week we celebrated Mami's homegoing. We made lots of apps and we made tacos. They were her favorite. Throughout the day, we told those that visited about our memories of tacos.
They were all wrapped around Sunday brunch. My parents would take us to brunch after church and there, we would have our fill of tacos. Mom would order a half a dozen hardshell tacos (I'm not lying, that woman would eat SIX). Grandma would order soft tacos and she would always order more than she could eat. Wanna know why? To give the rest to my little brother.
So much of our Sunday memories are centered around food. This past Sunday I had the pleasure of making memories of my own with the frog princess. We raced to Bonefish Grill after service and there, the memory making commenced.
The Menu
I wish I was a foodie in order to better describe some of these dishes. Seriously. Because yummy and delicious don't do it justice. I think it's a combination of great food and great service that makes everything taste better. Once again, we got Nik as a server and he was fantastic. There was another young lady helping out and the frog princess was very happy to see her as the last time we went to this restaurant she kept commenting on the beautiful curls this girl had (my child looks for curly girls everywhere).
I had the Cajun Shrimp omelet as part of their endless bubbles brunch. You can't beat that folks. Your choice of omelet, brunch favorite or eggs benedict paired up with endless bellinis or mimosas (and you don't have to stick with just one particular flavor). Passion fruit mimosas are available as well as the traditional mimosa. And their peach bellini is apparently the most popular of all three.
The Memories
I love that we get to write on the table. While we waited for our meals, the frog princess created some pretty awesome art. And told some great stories. I took the time to snap a few shots of what she had created but generally, got a chance to connect with her as she told me the stories behind the pictures and some general frog princess musings. I took every little moment in.
I hope you have a Bonefish Grill near you and that you get a chance to experience this menu and create some Sunday memories of your own. What's your favorite Sunday memory?
Disclosure: I was provided with a gift card in order to experience the new brunch menu. All opinions, artistic expression and drooling are purely mine and the Frog Princess.
