Be Still My Heart: Verizon at Valentine's!

[box type="shadow" align="aligncenter" ]I was provided with a charging pad and a Nokia phone in order to write this product review.[/box] If you have been following me on Twitter, you may have heard about my struggles with my cell phone provider. Let's just say that as a blogger, I must be connected especially when I'm covering an event and that has not always been the case. Which makes me not love my life, my phone or my provider.

However, I have been crushing on Verizon Wireless because I see the bloggers that have Verizon as their service provider tweeting and posting away while my battery dies as my phone loops to get one status up. This leads to what I like to call [tooltip text="connectenvy" gravity="ne"]The severe envious feelings one experiences as those around you can easily connect to the interwebs, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram while your service provider fails and your eyes well up with tears tasting of failure.[/tooltip].

The love is partly for the service and partly due to the Nokia Lumia 928.  I told you guys about it back in December and it is still on my favorites list. I think it has helped that while I was testing it out, I had service when my other phone did not and that I did not drop client calls in the middle of telephone conferences. What can I say? I'm picky about that.

Here are some of the things I love about this phone:

Nokia_White

  1. Camera - I love that I can hit the bottom right-side budget and use my camera. There are times when a picture must be taken for goodness sake! No one has time to enter passwords. I like to call this the blogger-friendly feature.
  2. Access to documents - as an Office Champ, I've told you about my love for Office 365. Actually, I told you about it way before acquiring that title. With the Lumia, I get to access all of my SkyDrive files right from the palm of my hand. Not just my OneNote items but my images, contracts, Excel spreadsheet, etc. It's divine!
  3. The Tiles - the tiles make make life easier as I can organize the information I need in a way that makes sense. Being able to change the sizing of the tile is also super helpful to me.
  4. The service - a nice phone means nothing if you can't get service. This little bad boy was fantastic in keeping me connected and with 4G [tooltip text="LTE" gravity="sw"]Do you know what LTE stands for? Long Term Evolution. You're welcome.[/tooltip] I was taking care of business at lighting speed!

Nokia_PlateThe last little something I want to share with you is this fantabulously great charging plate. I don't know about you but I already set my phone on top of something at bedtime and during work hours. How cool is it to be able to put your phone down on this Nokia Wireless Charging Plate without needing to worry about the chord (which I inevitably drop behind my nightstand and routinely find myself in yoga positions to retrieve).

The drawback to the charging plate? It doesn't work on all phones. But, since you're going to go ahead and buy the Nokia cuz I love it so much, you won't have a problem.

If you're looking for a real "I love you" gift this season, this perfect pair will make anyone's heart skip a beat!
