Pampers Baby Board
I love to learn. When I took my Strengths Finder 2.0 Â test, one of my strengths? Learnin'. It means that I am never without something new and exciting in life. And although I want to quit school right. this. minute. I don't mind telling you that finding out cool things about brands I already thought I knew is a highlight in my life. I'm actually writing a lot about Procter & Gamble in my Responsible Corporate Leadership class. So when I received news that I was selected to be on the Pampers Baby Board AND that I'd get to fly to Cincinnati and take some tours, I ovulated. I mean really, it's Pampers. How could I not ovulate?
But, I digress. Wow! I was ahmazed. I know about the things that they make and the products that  I use but the people? I didn't know anything about the people behind the diapers. And let me tell you, these folks take their jobs seriously. The level of passion that I saw was second to none.
I truly felt that passion and enthusiasm pass back to the blogger group there. We were happy and proud to be part of this community. The baby board began back in 2011. I am one of the newbies. I feel so blessed to be part of this great group of people.
Y'all, I never knew it took THAT much to make the diapers my daughter wore. Did you know they use CT scans and MRI's on dolls that are made specifically for these types of tests in order to determine how liquids are absorbed by the diaper? Or that there is an entire research area where kids get to try out the new diapers? OR that there's a lab where diapers can be hand made in order to test? My nerdy brain almost couldn't take it.
I got to see a really cool test with baby wipes. check this out:
I was not a Pampers wipes fan until I saw this test. Lots of cool technology which is always a good thing for me. But even better than that? Lots of great people behind the products I love.
Today, begins my month of thankfulness and I am here to tell you: Pampers is it for today. I am grateful for the people that work there, for the people that have dedicated their lives to make sure that my baby could love, sleep and play in the comfort that only Pampers could bring.
What are you thankful for today?
Disclosure: I was flown to Cincinnati as part of the Pampers Baby Board. All opinions and ovulation are purely my own.
