#IDelight In This New Look

All thoughts, coffee and mass amounts of laundry (that I am STILL doing) are sadly, my own.[/box] I had fantasies of sitting on the bed with my big Seattle coffee mug and a book. In my fantasy, I inevitably was enjoying my cafe with caramel macchiato creamer. It's my thing. As is usual in these parts, I had to rework life.

First of all, I almost had a conniption when I went to buy creamer. When I reached the creamer section my normal ID stash wasn't there! Or so I thought. It seems that the fabu folks over at International Delight decided to pull the wool over Sili's eyes. How, you ask? Well, nothing like a little makeover just in time for the summer:

I'm digging the new look. And I'm also digging the possibilities. I shall be experimenting all summer long with fantastic and ridiculously yummy recipe situations. You will most likely be regaled with one story or another along the way. Hope that's okay.

But the best part? As summer begins, I get to indulge in some afternoon Iced Coffee goodness. I'm also planning on making iced coffee shakes and packing them for some seaside sipping (stay tuned for recipes). The only thing I really don't like? My kid has started asking about why there are "cookies" on the carton of coffee that she is already suspicious of since it goes into the fridge. I think she thinks I'm hoarding chocolate milk or something. How do I tell her Cookies n' Creme IS an adult beverage? The struggle is real, people!

As you may or may not know, I'm scheduled for surgery on Thursday. I can tell you that I've already stored up on Caramel Macchiato as well as my back up flavor creamer: French Vanilla since I won't be able to drive for a few days.

Oh and if you're wondering, I got a chance to sip my caramel macchiato infused cafe, by the way. It just so happened to have been served with a side of laundry to fold, a child in need of some playtime and a dog that may or may not have eaten bathroom trash as opposed to that peace, quiet and book I had dreamed about.

Have you spotted ID's new look in your grocer's fridge? What's your favorite?
