Camp Mamitiki Means Mami and Me

I told you a couple of weeks ago that this summer, I'd be keeping the frog princess home for Camp Mamitiki. I've had a few people ask what this is and it's simple: it's Mami and Me time. With my work and school schedule, the frog princess will be headed to school most days this summer but I wanted to do something special in spite of that.
So, I've shifted my work schedule so that I can hold Camp Mamitiki Fridays through Mondays. I hope to get out of the house and hit some parks, beaches, museums and perhaps a petting zoo. I'm SO looking forward to it.
One of the things that I need to be on point with at the house, whether it's during the school year or during Camp Mamitiki? Snackage. This kid knows her snacks and has a deep appreciation for them. I in turn, have a deep appreciation for Dole Squish'ems.
Why, you ask? I always make sure I am packed up and ready to go with her favorite snacks. I will say that I'm lucky because she enjoys healthy foods. But having healthy food on the go is a God-send. I get to throw the packs of Squish'ems in my bag and hand them over when she requests it, no spoons, no forks, no mess.
In turn, she gets a full serving of all-natural fruit, made with fresh apples from the USA: Apple, Apple Mixed Berry, and Apple Strawberry. And I get to feel good about what she eats and not stress out too much when I'm planning our outings around the city. It's a win-win, I say.
I'm SO looking forward to these days of exploration and summer fun. I feel blessed to be able to shuffle my schedule around to make this happen for us. Stay tuned for images of Camp Mamitiki: Mami & Me 2013! So tell me, how to you carve out Mami & Me time?
