Cafecito de Caramelo with International Delight!

ID_Final.jpg

You all know how much I love my coffee. It's really something I've contemplated giving up because sometimes I wonder if I love it too much. Then I realize I'm just not sufficiently caffeinated and I nip that in the bud. Thing is, I don't want to keep drinking the same ol' same ol'. Enter International Delight! It's perfection. Living in Florida sometimes I think: I want coffee but I don't want it hot. TA-DA! Problem solved. How you ask? With International Delight Light Iced Coffee.

I remember my girl Jane making iced coffees when I used to work at Book Fairs. She had a whole little system going for "icing" the coffee. I'm considering dropping some of these off to her so she can indulge in a new way.

I like trying out new things so of course, I pulled out my little blender in order to create a Cafecito de Caramelo starting Sweet and Creamy Light Iced Coffee in Mocha flavor. This is so easy I don't even want to call it a recipe.

  • 1 cup of Light Mocha Iced Coffee
  • 1 shot of cooled-off espresso (I make mine in a percolator, don't know what that is? Let's talk!)
  • 1 teaspoon of caramel
  • Ice cubes to taste

Instructions: throw it all in blender, hit the button then pour into your favorite cup or glass! Voila. See what I mean?

It's sooooo gooood!

Oh and because I like alternatives, here's the recipe remix for after hours enjoyment:

  • 1 cup of Light Mocha Iced Coffee
  • 1 cup of liquour
  • 1 teaspoon of caramel
  • Ice cubes to taste

See, told you it was easy. And the bestest part? It's light! That's 33.3% fewer calories and 39% less sugar and only 100 calories per serving! And for my coffee purists, keep this in mind: International Delight Light Iced Coffee is made with 100% premium Arabica coffee. Can't you just smell the flavor?

As I finish typing this up, Uncle Pete (aka my brother) has managed to drink 2 1/2 of these. Something tells me that I'm going to have to fight him for my coffee as I've had to fight him for my wine.

So...are you going to try this or what?

With less calories and less sugar, International Delight Light Iced Coffee lets you enjoy MORE of what you love! For more fun ways to break up your day, visit ID's new online games today for a chance to win sweet prizes and coupons to use on your next purchase!
